Remember the digital peacocks? I made more images like those shortly afterwards, but I never did get around to doing anything with them. Until now.
The terminology (linear versus planar) is taken straight from the winsomely named Tile Molester, as are its default palettes where the image is < 15bpp. Meanwhile, Firefox’s colouration really did come out like that untweaked.
Please let me know if your browser has any trouble with the gallery page, especially with the information that appears when mouse-hovering over images. (Well, unless you’re using a mobile browser that precludes hovering anyway.) For those with scant bandwidth, please be warned that the page is over 17MB large.
